For nearly 40 years, Mustang faithful have been supporting SMSU student-athletes through this annual golf tournament. The David & Carol Drown SMSU Golf Classic, hosted at the Marshall Golf Club, is a 5-golfer scramble format tournament and will be Friday, June 13, 2025.
Developed by avid Mustang supporters David and Carol Drown, The Drown SMSU Golf Classic is a great way to support Mustang athletics while enjoying a day out on the course with fellow Mustang fans.
In addition to 18 holes, registrants receive a great Mustang gift, tee gifts, use of a golf cart, complimentary range balls, hole prizes and are treated to a meal.
• This year's tournament is going back to a SHOTGUN start at 12 p.m.

• Individuals and teams are encouraged to purchase the putting contest, buy-up hole, and SMSU golf team par 3 tee shots, PRIOR to the event by filling out the registration form below.
